I know this is probably a little early, but Happy Birthday shanadian! ^_^

This picture was requested by when she won a contest I had. The image she requested was one that showed she was loved through symbolism, pictures and ideas. It took a little while, but an idea finally came together.

Symbols:
- Stick figures: are used generically to represent people. In this case the one in the lower corner represents her and the rest are whoever she wants.

- Rain: it's most often used for sadness, like in the chunck to the right side of this. When I originally talked to a friend though she pointed out the "love" aspect of rain. Movies always use getting caught in the rain as a romantic scene, and then there's the idea of little children playing in the rain. As the friend said, "rain is love in it's purest form."

-Flowers: again something that some people feel represents love and friendship.

-Page Turn: turning the page in a book changes what is happening at the point you're at. In this image the page turns from a scene of sadness to one of joy.

-Black & White/Color: Grey esspecially is used for sadness where as color, bright ones esspecially, represent joy. Even the grey figure is changing color to a bright blue where the red figure has touched him/her.

The overall message is even in your darkest times someone loves you and wants to turn your gloomy rain into a rain of love.
